“I’m Yours/Somewhere Over the Rainbow”- Straight No Chaser

Straight No Chaser is an all-male a capella group formed in the late 90s out of Indiana University. The members change yearly as newbies enter college and graduates enter the real world. Check their website out, their stuff is solid. 

This track combines one of my favorites, Jason Mraz, with Israel Kamakawiwo’ole’s unforgettable version of “Over the Rainbow”.

Junior Boys are a duo from Canada, whose sound is an 80s electro-pop vibe fused with contemporary synth and production. Stoner music? Maybe. You decide. 

“That Was Just a Dream”- Cut Copy

Cut Copy is an Australian electronica band whose album, Bright Like Neon Love, is worth a listen or ten. It’s kind of a happy mesh of 70s disco and 80s New Wave, if ever a thing was possible.

Oh Father- Sia

Australian singer, Sia, covers Madonna’s Oh Father. If you don’t know Sia, you probably have heard her vocal talent; it’s been featured in a ton of television shows including The O.C, Vampire Diaries, and, Gossip Girl. She also contributed vocals to The Bird and The Bee’s cover of the Bee Gees How Deep Is Your Love for the Sex and the City movie soundtrack.

The chill beat makes the lyrics of this song less suicide-inducing.
